With over 20 years of experience as a Professional Therapist & Couples Counselor, Matt has developed a deep appreciation for the uniqueness of every person’s story. Working with clients facing diverse challenges and concerns, he has often seen individuals feel trapped in patterns they struggle to change alone. Matt’s goal is to help clients move toward meaningful growth and finally become unstuck.
He believes each individual should be understood through a holistic or “big picture” approach that considers the many interconnected aspects of life. With this perspective, Matt prioritizes addressing multiple dimensions of a client’s well-being, including mental, relational, physical, and spiritual health. By looking at the whole person rather than a single issue, he helps clients build lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.
Matt works with individual adults, couples, and adolescents using a variety of service modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. His concern for cyclical patterns that affect families and relational life also informs his work with parents. Because no two people are exactly alike, Matt integrates a range of treatment strategies and therapeutic approaches, carefully adapting the process to fit each individual.
Matt received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School.
